  • Is there opportunity to grow with the company?
    Yes, there is definitely room to grow with our company. As a family business, we value hard work, dedication, and new ideas, which can open doors for expanded responsibilities, leadership roles, and opportunities to contribute to the company's growth. Additionally, as our business evolves, we’re always looking for ways to invest in our employees and their long-term success.
  • Does the company offer sick pay?
    Yes, we offer sick pay. Employees accrue 0.01923 hours of paid leave for every hour worked. This paid leave can be used not only for sick days but also for any other reason, including vacation. We’re proud to provide this flexibility to support our employees’ needs.
  • Where can I apply for available jobs?
    English: You can apply for available jobs by visiting our Job Listings page at www.tortillasinc.com/employment. From there, you can view open positions, read detailed descriptions, and submit your application directly online. If you prefer, you can also download and complete a general employment application in English or Spanish from the General Employment Applications section at www.tortillasinc.com/employment.
  • Should I call the office to follow up on my application?
    We do not have a representative available in office to follow up on submitted applications. If your application is being considered, you will be contacted directly via email.
  • What are the positions hours, scheduled days and pay?
    The hours and schedules for each position vary depending on the department and its specific needs. Shifts typically range from 8 to 10 hours, and the days of operation may differ between departments. As for the hourly wage, we share that information during the interview process, but please note that we fully comply with Nevada's laws regarding pay, including minimum wage and overtime regulations.
  • What are the job responsibilities for positions?

  • Can I fill out an application in person?
    Applications are only available through our online portal. If you visit the office, you will be kindly directed to our website where you can complete your application.
  • What happens after I submit my job application?
    Once your application is submitted, it will be reviewed by our Human Resources team to assess whether you meet the minimum qualifications. If your application is selected, you will be contacted via email to schedule an interview.
  • Does the company offer health insurance?
    Yes, we offer health, dental, and vision insurance to our employees after 60 days of employment. We believe in supporting the well-being of our team and are happy to provide these benefits.
  • What documents are required if hired?
    We require all employees to provide identity verification such as: social security card, birth certificate, employment authorization document, state-issued ID, U.S. passport, permanent resident card, U.S. citizen ID card or a U.S. military ID card. We also require employees to obtain a current health card of southern Nevada.
  • Can I apply even if there are no openings?
    Certainly, you are welcome to apply even if there are no current openings. We maintain a list of job descriptions for the positions we typically offer, and your application will be kept on file for future vacancies. Should an appropriate opportunity arise, we will reach out to you.
  • How often are raises given?
    We conduct bi-annual performance reviews for each department, and raises are determined based on the quarterly performance reports prepared by each department manager. However, please note that certain positions may have a maximum pay limit, beyond which raises may no longer be given.
  • Does the company offer vacation pay?
    Yes, we offer vacation pay to all employees after completing one year of employment. We value the importance of time off and are happy to provide this benefit to support work-life balance.
